To Sign Up for Online Statements and notices for the first time, simply follow these instructions:
Log into ESL Internet Banking.
Click "Statements" in the left menu.
A disclosure will appear which you must read and accept.
Then you will get a message that says "No statements are currently available, please try again later".
Your statements will begin to appear after the next end-of-month cycle.
Your notices will begin to appear the following business day.
If you have viewed and agreed to the online statement disclosure at some time in the past, to sign up for online statements and notices do the following:
Log into ESL Internet Banking.
Click on "User Options" at the top right side of your screen.
Select "Online Statement Options".
Choose "Waive mailing of monthly paper statement".
Click "Change Online Statement Options".
Your statements will begin to appear after the next end-of-month cycle.
Your notices will begin to appear the following business day.
To View your statements, click "Statements" in the left-side menu. Statements available for viewing are listed by statement date. Click on the PDF icon to view the entire statement. In order to receive your statements online for the current month, you must change your online statement option 4 business days prior to the end of the month.
To View your notices, click "Notices" in the left-side menu. Your notices will be listed in chronological order (the most recent notice delivered will appear at the top of the list). Click on the PDF icon next to the notice name to view the notice.
Is there special software required to view my statements and notices online?
Adobe Acrobat Reader software is required in order to view your statement and notices. The most recent release is recommended. If you do not have this software, you may download it for free.
Can I change my selection?
Yes. If you decide you no longer wish to receive your statements and notices online, you may click on User Options and then Online Statement Options. Then choose "receive your monthly paper statement". Your statements will start to come in the mail again during the next statement cycle. Your notices will start to come in the mail again the following business day. You must cancel your online statements at least 4 (four) business days prior to the end of the month in order to receive them in the mail for that month.
Can I have online statements and receive all of my notices in the mail?
No. You may choose to receive all of your statements and notices online OR by mail; you cannot choose more than one option.
What types of statements are available online?
Currently all checking, savings, certificate and IRA account statements as well as Home Equity Line of Credit statements are available online.
What types of notices are available online?
Currently notices such as Certificate Renewal/Maturity Notices, ESL Loan Late Notices, and Overdraft Notices. Basically any notice that deals with the day-to-day activities on your share and loan accounts with ESL.
Are there any notices I will not receive online?
Yes, you will not receive a notice if a Business Reply Envelope has to be included in the notice. Also, if a notice requires an actual signature by an ESL employee then the notice will not be placed online.
I currently get images of my checks with my statement; will I get those images online as well?
No. The pages of multiple check images that you currently receive with your paper statement are not available online. Images of single checks are available online by clicking on the specific check number in your account detail.
How often will I receive online statements?
All Checking, Premier, and Money Maker accounts are provided monthly. Savings accounts are provided quarterly unless an Electronic Funds Transfer has occurred during the month. If so, you will receive a Savings statement that month. Home Equity Line of Credit statements are provided monthly.
When will my statements become available to view?
After you have submitted the Statement Waiver, your notices will begin to appear the following business day.

What email address will you send my monthly reminder to?
In Internet Banking, click on User Options and check to see what email address we have listed for you. You may change your email address anytime using this feature.
Will I be able to see past statements and notices?
The statement process is not retroactive. Statements will only begin to be stored online AFTER you have processed your statement waiver request. Once you begin receiving statements online, they will be retained online for 18 months.
The notice process is retroactive. Once you process your statement waiver request, you will see 60 days worth of past notices.
How long are statements retained on the system?
Statements will be retained online for 18 months, beginning with the month that the user chooses to begin online statements.

Notices will be retained online for 60 days, beginning with the day you receive your first notice electronically.
Can I still get my statements and notices in the mail as well?
No. You may EITHER choose to receive your statements and notices online OR in the mail.
Will I receive my tax statements online?
Yes. Year-end tax forms 1098 and 1099 will be available in your December online statement. This is the only copy of the tax forms that you will receive. The tax forms will be maintained online for 18 months. You may wish to print them or save them for your permanent records.
Can I print or save my online statements and notices?
Yes! Statements and notices will print out in the same format which you would have received them in the mail. Simply click on your browser's print icon. You may also save your statements and notices to file or a disk by choosing the "save" icon on your browser.
Will a joint account holder be able to get statements online?
No. Statements are provided to the primary account holder only. The social security number on the account is that of the primary account holder. Statements can be viewed by the primary account holder only. Joint account holders will not be able to access statements under their ID.
Will a joint account holder receive a copy of the statement in the mail?
No. Statements are provided to the primary account holder only. The primary holder has the option of choosing to receive statements online or in the mail.
How can a joint account holder see account activity?
If you are a joint account holder, the activity for each account for which you are joint tenant is available to you via Internet Banking under account access.
Can I choose to receive some statements and notices online (for example savings) and others (such as checking) in the mail?
No. You may choose to receive all of your statements and notices online (see above), OR by mail, you cannot choose more than one option.
