For Immediate Release: ESL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION MARKETING TEAM RECEIVES BRONZE TELLY Rochester, New York... The marketing team at ESL Federal Credit Union received a Bronze Telly for Excellence in the production and airing of its television spot "Conversations", which ran locally from October-November 2009. The 30 second commercial supported the ESL Free Checking promotion, which was running during that time. The Telly Awards is an international competition, which receives more than 13,000 entries each year from among 50 states and five continents. Work is judged by category, against all other entrants in that category rather than by region. Winning entries receive either a silver or bronze Telly. Although there are multiple winners in either of the two categories, less the five percent are winning entries. This year marked the 31st year of the awards program. Established in 1978, the Telly Awards honor the best in local, regional and cable television commercials and programming, film production and website work. Its mission is to strengthen the visual arts community by inspiring, promoting and supporting creativity.
