For Immediate Release: ESL FEDERAL CREDIT to OPEN BRANCH in GENESEO Geneseo site will be 22nd branch developed by the locally owned, financial institution Rochester, New York - A 22nd branch is in the works for ESL Federal Credit Union. Officials at the locally owned, financial institution announced that construction is underway for a new branch in Geneseo. The site, located at 22 Ryan Drive, is the first ESL branch to be located in Livingston County. Construction is expected to be completed by the first part of December. The company also announced in late 2009 that it will also open a branch in Batavia. That branch is slated for completion by late fall. A branch was also opened at the company's new headquarters, 225 Chestnut Street, Rochester, in April. "This expansion enhances access to our high quality services and products. It is positive news for current and prospective members," said Francine Patella Ryan, ESL's Public Affairs Manager. Founded by George Eastman in 1920, ESL Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution with $3.9 billion in assets. ESL employs more than 600 people locally and has more than 300,000 members world-wide. Access to the credit union includes 20 branch locations and more than 42 ATM locations, a Tele-Banking Center, and Internet and online banking channels.
