For Immediate Release: DAVID L. BROOKS JOINS ESL AS Rochester, New York - ESL Federal Credit Union announces the appointment of David L. Brooks as senior vice president/director, lending center, and chief lending officer. In his position, Brooks is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of ESL's credit risk management policies. He manages the credit union's lending operations center and business banking unit and, serves as a member of ESL's policy and planning committees. A 30-year industry veteran, Brooks joins ESL from HSBC Bank USA, N.A., where he most recently served as senior vice president commercial executive. Brooks received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Grove City College, Grove City, Pa. Brooks currently serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Rochester, where he is also treasurer, and the Monroe County Industrial Development Corporation, where he sits on the loan, audit and finance committees. He previously served on the boards of Wilson Commencement Park, Greater Rochester Enterprise and Fairport Baptist Home, and has been active in youth sports programs in Fairport.
