Training magazine, a leading national trade publication for training and development, announced its top 125 training organizations for 2012 earlier this month at its annual conference in Atlanta. ESL was named number 47, placing the locally-owned credit union among the top 50 in this field. This prestigious award honors organizations that stand above their peers in workforce investment. It is one of the most elite rankings in this field. Hundreds of companies from an array of industries submitted the comprehensive and rigorous Top 125 application. Training magazine's editorial staff scrutinized the submissions and used a specific set of criteria to narrow the large field of applicants to the select group that comprise this year's winners. Winners are also featured in the January/February issue of Training magazine. In addition to this recognition, ESL maintained its standing as the highest-ranked credit union in the 2012 list. "Once again, we're proud to be honored with this award from training industry leaders," said ESL Federal Credit Union Vice President/People Organization Development Director Maureen Wolfe. "This recognition affirms that ESL's commitment and approach to the learning and development of all employees is on par with the best learning organizations in the U.S. We're continuously pursuing innovative solutions that will provide our employees the training they need when they need it."
