ESL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION TRAINING and DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS MAKES TRAINING "TOP 125" FOR SEVENTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Local Credit Union ranked 36th among the country's best organizations for training and development efforts

Rochester, NY... For the seventh consecutive year, ESL Federal Credit Union's training and development efforts have been recognized among the country's elite learning professionals.

Training magazine, a leading national trade publication for training and development, announced its top 125 training organizations for 2013 earlier this month at its annual conference in Orlando. ESL was named number 36, placing the locally-owned credit union among the top 50 in this field.

This prestigious award honors organizations that stand above their peers in workforce investment. It is one of the most elite rankings in this field.

Hundreds of companies from an array of industries submitted the comprehensive and rigorous Top 125 application. Training magazine's editorial staff scrutinized the submissions and used a specific set of criteria to narrow the large field of applicants to the select group that comprise this year's winners.

Winners are also featured in the January/February issue of Training magazine. In addition to this recognition, ESL maintained its standing as the highest-ranked credit union in the 2013 list.

"It's an honor for ESL to be counted among the training industry's best," said ESL Federal Credit Union Senior Vice President/Director, Human Resources & Community Relations Maureen Wolfe. "This award affirms that ESL's commitment and approach to the learning and development of all employees is on par with the best learning organizations in the U.S. We're continuously pursuing innovative solutions that will provide our employees the training they need when they need it."
