Eligibility

To open a safe deposit box at an ESL branch:

• Individuals must be:
  • A member in good standing, and
  • The primary owner of a share account with a minimum balance of $1.
• For Trusts:
  • Individuals must have ESL accounts in a Trust with a minimum balance of $1, and
  • The trustees must be allowed to act separately.

ESL offers safe deposit boxes in a range of sizes to accommodate your valuables:

• 3” x 5”
• 5” x 5”
• 3” x 10”
• 5” x 10”
• 10” x 10” (only at select locations)
