Common questions we hear ...

Select Job Opportunities from the Great Opportunities drop down in the Careers section. You may search by work location, title, career area, and keywords.

  1. From the careers page click Browse Job Openings.
  2. Select an opportunity.
  3. Click Apply On-Line.
  4. Follow instructions to complete the candidate presence (profile).

Acceptable file formats are Microsoft Word documents (.doc, .docx), Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf), and text documents (.txt, .rtf, .rtx).

ESL keeps all applications on file for a minimum of one year, unless you direct us to do otherwise. Please be sure to update your presence (profile) as you progress in your career.

You will receive an email notifying you that your application has been received. If you don't receive it almost immediately, please check that your "junk mail" filter has not stopped it.

When you apply for an opportunity via our Careers site, your information will be forwarded to the appropriate recruiter for consideration. If an appropriate match exists between your experience and the position requirements, you will be contacted by a recruiter.

  1. Click on the Job Opportunities section of the careers page.
  2. From the job board, click on the Sign In tab in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  3. On the login sign-in screen, click the Create/Reset Forgot your password link.
  4. Enter your email address.
  5. You will receive an email from identity-noreply@ultimatesoftware.com.

All positions that appear on our website are up-to-date. If you do not see the position listed, it has been filled or it is no longer available. If you applied for the position, you will be notified via email. You may also check the status of positions you have applied for by viewing your presence in the recruiting system.

Yes, we conduct a variety of employment background checks. They consist of a Social Security Number scan, criminal record checks, employment and education verifications, and credit check. For individuals who have experienced financial challenges, running a credit check may be scary. We want you to know that we do not see or use your actual credit score to make a hiring determination. We instead review your credit report and then work with you to meet ESL’s credit parameters by providing tools and resources to improve your financial situation.

ESL Federal Credit Union wants to help. That's why we've provided access to free and confidential financial counseling and education through Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester (CCCS). You can work with a CCCS counselor to discuss your credit report and other financial concerns. Not only can these sessions help with your current situation, you can use CCCS for developing a workable spending and savings plan, getting out of debt, buying a home, or planning for your financial future. We also have Financial Educational Resources on our website as an additional tool for you to access.

No. Once the conversion takes place on June 12, 2018, candidates will not be able to access information uploaded in the old online application system.

Your candidate profile in the previous system is now referred to as the candidate presence.
