President Rebecca Webster and co-owner (and husband) Craig, recently received the SBA Small Business Person(s) of the Year award, and were presented with this honor on Monday, May 9, 2016, in Buffalo, NY.

When reviewing nominations for this award, the SBA considers certain criteria, including:

  • Staying power — the business must have been in business continuously for at least three years, with substantiated growth in sales/net worth, number of employees, expansion, and positive financial performance.
  • Innovativeness of product or service offered.
  • Contributions to community-oriented projects.

Using the financial support they received from ESL and the SBA, The Men’s Room recently completed the expansion on their facilities where they provide premier grooming services for men in a luxurious yet comfortable setting. The spa is located at 2430 Monroe Avenue in Brighton.
