You can cash checks, pay bills, and take advantage of our other timesaving Cash Services just by visiting the ESL branch near you. And there’s only a simple, one-time registration^* required for non-members.

• Keep things simple. You don’t need an ESL account to use our convenient Cash Services. Just complete the one-time registration process, and you’re ready to cash checks, and more.

You can do all these Cash Services—and more—by visiting any ESL branch and registering^* for Cash Services:

• Cash checks. And get your money fast. You can cash your payroll, government, and official bank checks immediately at any of our [current branch count] branches. You can cash your postal money orders, too.
• Get Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks. When you need to make a bill payment, large purchase, or down payment, these official bank checks are a great solution.
• Use our free notary services. You don’t have to drive around the city looking for a notary public. Just stop by the ESL branch near you. You can get your important legal, financial, and real estate documents notarized in a hurry. And remember: This helpful service is completely free to you.

Ready to register for our Cash Services? Stop by the ESL branch near you and sign up for our convenient, easy-to-use Cash Services today. All you have to do is follow three simple steps:

• Make sure you’re eligible (see below)
• Complete and sign a Cash Services Registration Form—just print it … fill it out … and bring it to any ESL branch
• Provide your Social Security Number a copy of a valid and current form(s) of identification (see table below):
  • One Primary form of ID from List A, OR
  • One Secondary form of ID from List B AND one Secondary form of ID from List C
• Non-Resident Alien must provide all of the following:
  • Unexpired Passport from Country of Origin (cannot be from an OFAC blocked country)
  • One form of ID from either List B or List C (see table below)
  • Proof of U.S. physical address

Eligibility

While it’s not necessary to be an ESL member to use ESL Cash Services, you must meet one of the following eligibility requirements:

• An immediate family/household member² is a current ESL member, OR
• You, or an immediate family/household member,² live, work, worship, or attend school within the geographic boundaries of the City of Rochester, OR
• You, or an immediate family/household member,² are an employee/retiree of an eligible company or member/volunteer of an eligible organization.

Any ESL representative can help you determine how easy it is to qualify.

1: Please contact us if the address on your ID is not your current address, is a P.O. Box or an address isn’t listed. Further information will be needed to process your Cash Services request.
