There are many options for qualified first-time buyers. To know which ones may work best for you, consider working with a homeownership counselor, like The Housing Council, to review your income, credit, location in which you want to purchase, and household status.

ESL will begin accepting Homebuyer Dream Program™ (HDP) grant reservation requests on Monday, May 3, 2021, for submissions to the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York. Reservation requests into the HDP are limited each year and are available on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible buyers.

Owner-occupied multi-family homes may qualify for the Homebuyer Dream program under specific circumstances.
