ESL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION AND GREECE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTIRICT OFFICE OF COMMUNITY EDUCATION OFFER CAREER CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Program Provides Training for Individuals Seeking Careers as Bank Tellers or Customer Services Representatives in Credit Unions or Banks

Rochester, New York - ESL Federal Credit Union and the Greece Central School District Office of Community Education will offer a Bank Teller/Customer Services Representative Career Certificate Program beginning April 16 - June 12. The 100-hour certificate training program will prepare individuals for entry level positions as bank tellers or customer services representatives in credit unions and banks. This is the second time the locally-owned credit union and Greece Community Education have partnered to offer the career certificate program.

Course components include: customer service, sales, computer skills, and math for banking to succeed and advance in the banking industry. Class sessions, which were developed by ESL and Greece Community Education, will be held Monday-Thursday, from 1:00-4:00 p.m., at the Community Learning Center at the Mall at Greece Ridge, 170 Greece Ridge Center Drive, Rochester , NY 14626.

Prerequisites include a high school diploma or GED^® (Graduate Educational Development) certificate, assessments for reading and math, and ESL pre-employment requirements. Assessment for National Professional Certification in Customer Service will be conducted at the conclusion of the course.
