EIP... Three little letters that mean a lot to employees around here. At ESL, EIP stands for Employee Incentive Plan.
EIP is a unique, performance-based incentive that rewards eligible employees from all roles throughout the organization for their contributions to our success.
What makes the ESL Employee Incentive Plan special?
EIP is for Everyone – All employees who are working at ESL on or before October 1 of plan year and are meeting performance expectations are eligible to receive an EIP payout. That means no matter what your role or seniority, you can be eligible. That’s different from what’s experienced at many other organizations, where only select employees working in certain roles or at certain levels can receive a bonus.
EIP Components - At ESL, we all have a role in creating success and the EIP Payout Award is one way success is shared with employees. It’s based on three components:
- Net Income – this reflects how financially successful ESL has been for the past year.
- Net Promoter Score - this metric tells us how well our customers think we’re doing and speaks to our ability to deliver a great customer experience!
- Individual Performance – this component recognizes the contribution an employee makes, based on their individual performance.
EIP is awarded annually* amidst great celebration, recognizing that it takes all of us working together to achieve our goals.
