Comprehensive Health Care Coverage

Medical
Plan offered through Excellus BlueCross BlueShield for employee and his/her eligible dependents – eligible at date of hire.

Dental
Two plans offered through Excellus BlueCross BlueShield for employee and his/her eligible dependents – eligible at date of hire.

Vision
Vision plan through Davis Vision for employee and his/her eligible dependents – eligible at date of hire.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible out-of-pocket medical, dental, and/or dependent care expenses – eligible at date of hire.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
Tax-exempt account for the purpose of paying qualified medical expenses. Must meet eligibility requirements – eligible at date of hire.
 

Financial Benefits
401(k)
ESL Savings Plan – ESL matches 100% of the first 1% of pay you contribute, and 50% of the next 5% of pay you contribute – eligible at date of hire; company match vested after two years of service.

Pension
Account automatically set up by ESL. Account is credited each year based on your pay, years of service, age, and interest earnings on your account – vested after three years of service.

Employee Incentive Plan
The ESL Employee Incentive Plan is designed to recognize and reward employees for their contributions to our organization's success – eligible at date of hire; must be employed by October 1 to be eligible for that plan year.
Financial Protection
Life Insurance & AD&D
One times base salary up to plan maximums – effective the first day of the month following 30 calendar days from date of hire.

Supplemental/Life Insurance
Additional coverage up to five times base salary for the employee, dependent, and child(ren) – eligible at date of hire.

Short-Term Disability
For approved claims, ESL provides options for salary continuation after six months of employment.

Long-Term Disability
After 26 weeks of short-term disability, pays 60% of base salary per month if approved (up to a monthly plan maximum) – effective the first day of the month following 30 calendar days from date of hire.
 
Paid Time Off
Vacation
Based on calendar year schedule; employees receive 10 or 15 days (based on job type) – prorated during first year of service.

Holidays
Up to 10 holidays per calendar year – eligible at date of hire.
