Business Internet Banking First Time Login Instructions

Thank you for choosing ESL Business Internet Banking. You'll love the convenience of being able to access your business accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With just the click of a mouse you can check your account balances, transfer funds, pay your ESL loans or view your statements online. You can even pay all your bills online with ESL Bill Pay service, FREE to all ESL members.

Here is what you'll want to know to make your first login experience with ESL Business Internet Banking go smoothly.

Once we have received all of the appropriate paperwork, we will process the Business Internet Banking Services Request Agreement in about 2-3 business days. After that, the Company Administrator will receive an email from ESL with login information.

Logging into ESL Business Internet Banking for the first time:

  1. Start at esl.org and click on the Business Internet Banking login button on the left hand side of the page.
  2. This brings you to the Business Internet Banking login page that displays a three-part login.
  3. Enter your Company ID, User ID, and User Password that was provided in the email from ESL in your ESL Secure Email inbox (see instructions above).
    1. At the first login, you are required to change your User Password.
  4. When you login for the first time, you will be prompted to:
    1. Change your User Password.
    2. Validate your email address. If your address is incorrect, contact ESL at 585.336.1000 or through ESL Online Chat.
    3. Create five security questions. Select one question from each drop-down menu. Enter answers in the field provided. Answers:
      1. Must be between 2 and 50 characters
      2. Are not case sensitive
      3. Must be unique (you may not use the same answer for more than one security question.)

Security Questions - These questions help to maintain a secure Internet Banking experience when using a computer that has multiple users. To avoid being prompted with the security questions at each login (for a computer you alone use), enroll that computer for Enhanced Login Security by selecting the check box that prompts "Enroll this Computer for Future Use." Do not enroll a public computer (or a computer that has multiple users.) When using a computer that is not enrolled, you will be prompted to answer two of the five security questions for future logins.
