How do I reset my personal online banking password?

If you are unable to log in, please go to the ESL Home page and click on Trouble Logging in?  To gain access to online banking you must have a new password sent to a registered phone number.

What is my online banking PIN?

For the first time you log into personal online banking, you must use a four digit PIN.  Once you are in, you will be required to create a password.  If you do not  have an online banking PIN please contact an ESL Representative.

To gain access to business online banking, you will need to complete the Business Online Banking Services Request form. Once completed, you may fax the form to 585.336.1066. The request will take 1-2 business days to process.

How much can I purchase with my ESL Visa Check Card?

The daily limit for ESL Visa Check Card purchases is $2,500 when you use your card as credit. The daily limit for purchases in which you use your PIN is $600, which includes the daily cash limit you can withdraw from an ATM.

How do I request access to online banking?

To log into personal online banking, enter your member number and use your online banking PIN as your initial password. If you do not have an online banking PIN please contact an ESL Representative.

How much can I withdraw from an ATM?

Your ESL ATM or Visa Check Card is able to withdraw up to $600 per calendar day from an ATM.

What is my member number?

As an ESL member, you have a unique member number that identifies you and your relationship with ESL.  Your member number is listed at the top of each of your ESL statements.

You may also contact an ESL Representative to obtain your member number.

How do I access my personal statements online?

To view your statements, click Statements from the Member Center menu option. Statements available for viewing are listed by statement date. Click on the PDF icon to view the entire statement. In order to receive your statements online for the current month, you must change your online statement option four business days prior to the end of the month.

How do I register for ESL Bill Pay?

Once logged in to personal online banking you may register for ESL Bill Pay by clicking Bill Pay.  You may instead mouseover Bill Pay and click Pay a Bill.  

To gain access to business online banking and Business ESL Bill Pay, you will need to complete the
Business Internet Banking Services Request Form. This form is available online. Once completed, you may fax the completed form to 585.336.1066. The request will take 1-2 business days to process. 

How do I reset a user's business online banking password?

To reset a User within business online banking the Company Administrator will:

Click Administration.
Select Add/Change/Remove Users from the drop down menu.
Select the user from the Current User drop down menu.
Enter a new password in the User Password field 
Confirm the password.
Click Update.
Provide the new password to the User.

  • Access the ESL Home page.
  • Click Sign In.
  • Click on Trouble Signing In? 
  • Please follow the prompts to gain access to Online Banking.

My ESL Visa Check Card (or ESL ATM card) will expire soon.  When will I get a new card?

A replacement card is automatically issued to the address on record mid-month in the month the card is due to expire. Your current card is good through the last day of the month.

If you have not received your card please contact an ESL Representative.

How do I edit a payee?

To edit a Bill Pay payee’s information please:

  • Locate the payee in your My Bills & People I Pay list. 
  • Click the payee's Options link.  
  • Click on the Account Information tab on the left side of the Options window. 
  • You may be able to edit some or all of the following information: 
    • Account Number 
    • Category 
    • Nickname 
    • Address 
    • Phone Number
  • Electronic payees do not use an address to submit payment. Since the payment goes via Automated Clearing House, the address is dictated by the payment services, and therefore cannot be changed for an electronic payment. 

If you do not get the option to change the address, but still need to update it, you will need to delete or hide the payee and set it up again.
