TEL-E$L Automated Telephone Banking

At ESL, we want to help you bank how, when, and where you want. That’s why we offer so many easy ways to manage your ESL accounts and get the information and assistance you need. TEL-E$L, our automated telephone banking service, lets you handle a wide variety of banking tasks with push-button ease. So you can save time and bank on your own schedule. Think of it as another way we answer to you.

Just call 585.336.1000 or 800.848.2265, and press 2 on your keypad at the prompt. That simple action opens the door to all our timesaving automated telephone banking services. You can manage your accounts. Get up-to-date balance information. Make loan payments, and more. And if you want to speak with a live (and very helpful) ESL representative, you don’t have to wander through a maze of automated options. You just press 0. Automated convenience when you want. Friendly, person-to-person service when you want. At ESL, the choice is always up to you.

With a few simple clicks of your telephone keypad, you can handle a wide range of banking tasks and transactions.

  • Make inquiries about your accounts.
  • Transfer funds from one account to another.

    Here’s how to get started with TEL-E$L.

    Ready to save time with our automated telephone banking service?

    • Just call 585.336.1000 or 800.848.2265.
    • Press 2 for TEL-E$L.
    • Follow the voice prompts or enter the menu code for the service you want.

    Want to access your ESL accounts?

    • For personal accounts, enter your member number followed by the # key.
    • For business accounts, enter your business account number followed by the # key.
    • Enter your TEL-E$L PIN followed by the # key.

    With those simple steps, you’ll be able to take advantage of all our TEL-E$L services.

    And remember. If you don’t know your TEL-E$L PIN, just call us at 585.336.1000 or 800.848.2265. An ESL representative will give you a PIN you can use. You can change it later whenever you want. (See Other Menu Options tab.)

     
  • Main Menu

    Once you’re connected to the TEL-E$L system, it’s easy to access your accounts, get information, or speak with an ESL representative based right here in Rochester.

    Just push the buttons on your telephone keypad to use these TEL-E$L menu options:

    • Press 1: Access your accounts (see Other Menu Options for more choices)
    • Press 2: Find out ESL branch hours and locations
    • Press 3: Get the latest rate information on our products and services
    • Press 0: Speak with a friendly ESL representative
     
  • Account Services

    It’s easy to inquire about your account balances and transactions. Just call TEL-E$L and press 1 to access your accounts. Then use the following codes to get the information you need:

    Press 1 for Checking Accounts then choose from these menu options:

    1: Get your account balance
    2: Review your recent transaction history
    4: Get information on your dividends
    5: Transfer funds
    9: Inquire about another account
    0: Speak with an ESL representative

    Press 2 for Savings or Money Maker Accounts then choose from these menu options:

    1: Get your account balance
    2: Review your recent transaction history
    3: Get information on your dividends
    4: Transfer funds
    9: Inquire about another account
    0: Speak with an ESL representative

    Press 3 for Certificates then choose from these menu options:

    1: Get your account balance
    2: Get information on your dividends
    3: Inquire about another account
    9: Inquire about another account
    0: Speak with an ESL representative

    Press 4 for Loan Accounts then choose from these menu options:

    1: Get your account balance
    2: Review your recent transaction history
    3: Interest summary
    4: Payoff information
    5: Make a payment
    6: Get escrow payment information
    9: Inquire about another account
    0: Speak with an ESL representative

    Press 5 for Credit Cards then choose from these menu options:

    1: Get your account balance
    2: Make a payment
    3: Inquire about another account
    0: Speak with an ESL representative

     
  • Other Menu Options

    These additional choices are available after you select Access Your Accounts (Option 1):

    Press 2: Transfer funds or make a payment
    Press 3: Get a summary of your account balances
    Press 4: Change your PIN
    Press 7: Log in as another member
    Press 8: Hear this menu again
    Press 9: Return to main menu
    Press 0: Speak with an ESL representative
