Federal PLUS Loans

Here's a low cost way for parents to borrow for the education expenses of a dependent child who is an undergraduate student. These loans are not based on financial need and repayment begins within 60 days after the loan is fully disbursed.

Parent Loan ^top

ESL is a lender for Federal Parent Loans (FPLUS). These loans enable parents to borrow to pay the education expenses of each dependent child who is an undergraduate student enrolled at least half time. New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (NYSHESC) guarantees loans.
