ESL Federal Credit Union Announces Appointments

Rochester, NY— ESL Federal Credit Union recently appointed Mary Alice Liotta as senior vice president /director of operations and Joseph S. Buscaglia as vice president/director of systems and technology.

In her new position, Liotta assumes the responsibility for corporate planning and management, physical security, facilities and business continuity management. She continues to oversee payment operations, deposit and loan product support, fraud prevention and investigation, and administrative support.

Liotta joined ESL in 1999 as branch operations manager and, in 2005, was named as the company's vice president/director of operations support team. Prior to joining ESL, she served as vice president of project management, HSBC, Buffalo and vice president of operations, at First Federal Savings & Loan, Rochester.

Liotta earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College. She resides in Hamlin, with her husband.

As vice president/director of systems and technology, Buscaglia is responsible for all information technology departments. He joined ESL in 1993 as a systems analyst and, in 1995, was appointed manager of member interface technologies. Prior to joining ESL, Buscaglia served as a business systems analyst at Eastman Kodak Credit Corporation and held various positions at Cortex Corporation, Boston.

Buscaglia earned his bachelor's degree in information systems management from the State University of New York College, at Buffalo, and his master's in business administration from the University of Massachusetts.

Buscaglia is a board member of the Urban League of Rochester. He resides in Webster, with his wife, and children.
