ESL Announces Addition of Trust Services

Locally-Owned Credit Union Receives New York State Authorization to Offer Trust and Other Related Fiduciary Services

Rochester, NY — ESL Federal Credit Union recently received approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services, to launch ESL Trust Services, LLC.

ESL is the first credit union in New York State to create a trust company subsidiary, and offering these solutions is a direct result of ESL’s mission to meet the broader financial service needs of individuals and businesses in the community. The addition of Trust Services further supplements the locally-owned financial institution’s current wealth management offerings of financial planning, investment, and insurance services, and provides a customized, comprehensive approach with access to global investment solutions through locally based relationship management.

The sophisticated suite of trust services includes trust administration services, investment management, estate planning and administration, and wealth transfer planning.

ESL Trust Services, LLC, adds a total of three new employees, with years of industry expertise, to complement ESL’s current suite of offerings. ESL appointed Gina DiMonda as president, ESL Trust Services, LLC, to help launch and lead Trust Services. Gina joined ESL in 2015 with more than 20 years of experience in the investment and trust service industries. She most recently served as vice president and wealth manager at First Niagara Bank, N.A.

“We are pleased to add trust and related fiduciary services as part of ESL’s wealth management solutions,” said Leo Iacobelli, ESL’s senior vice president/director of wealth management. “We know there is a strong demand for these services in our market and look forward to continuing to meet the needs of the Rochester community.”
