ESL Federal Credit Union Named One of the Country’s 2019 Best Workplaces for Women

Fifth Consecutive Year Locally-Owned Institution Named to List

Rochester, NY — ESL Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that for the fifth consecutive year, Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine named the locally-owned financial institution one of 2019’s Best Workplaces for Women.

ESL ranked number 13 on the list of 25 Best Small and Medium Workplaces for Women. The remaining 75 companies featured large companies with more than 1,000 employees to complete the full list of 100 Best Workplaces for Women.

The list considered survey feedback of more than 4.6 million US employees in all sectors of the U.S. economy. The ranking gauged the extent to which women report their organizations create a Great Place to Work For All™, how well represented women are in the workplace and throughout management, and survey feedback is collected through a 60-question Trust Index©.

This award marks the third Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine accolade received by ESL in 2019; ESL was also named a Best Workplace in Financial Services and Insurance, and a Best Workplace in New York State.

“We are thrilled to be named a Great Place to Work for Women for the fifth consecutive year,” said ESL Federal Credit Union President & CEO Faheem Masood. “Creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace for all of our employees is a necessity, and we are proud of the culture our employees have helped to build at ESL through the outstanding work they do, each and every day.”
