ESL Federal Credit Union Named One of the Country’s Best Workplaces for Women in 2021

Greater Rochester’s largest financial institution makes a Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine list for the fifth time this year.

Rochester, NY — ESL Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that it’s been named as one of this year’s Best Workplaces for Women by Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine.

ESL ranks number 18 on the list of 25 Best Small and Medium Workplaces for Women. The list for Best Large Workplaces for Women features 75 companies with more than 1,000 employees, which completes the full list of 100 Best Workplaces for Women.

The list considered survey feedback from more than 5.6 million US employees working at Great Place to Work-Certified organizations. The ranking gauged the extent to which women report their organizations create a Great Place to Work For All.™ Survey feedback also considered employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, the effectiveness of their leaders, and how well represented women are in the workplace and throughout management.

This latest award marks the fifth Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine recognition received by ESL in 2021. Other awards include:

  • One of the country’s Best Medium Workplaces
  • One of the Best Workplaces in New York State
  • One of the country’s Best Workplaces for Millennials
  • One of America's Best Workplaces in Financial Services and Insurance
