ESL Federal Credit Union Names Erin Tolefree to Board of Directors

Rochester, NY — ESL Federal Credit Union announces the recent appointment of Erin M. Tolefree as the newest member of the company’s Board of Directors.

Tolefree is the Chief Operating Officer for Baldwin Richardson Foods. She joined Baldwin Richardson in 2001, and has served in numerous senior management positions prior to taking her current role in 2019. In her current role, Tolefree oversees the Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, Quality, Innovation, Research, and Supply Chain teams.

“The addition of Erin to ESL’s Board of Directors is a benefit to all who work at and bank with the organization,” said Kenneth Bell, Chair, Board of Directors, ESL Federal Credit Union. “Her knowledge, business acumen, and dedication to giving back to the Greater Rochester community makes her an ideal asset to the ESL board, and we are thrilled to welcome her onto this team of committed volunteers.”

Tolefree recently completed her tenure as Board Chair for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester and serves as a Board Member for the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Women’s Council. She joined the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council in 2016. She has been recognized as an Athena Young Professional Award Finalist, Rochester’s 40 Under Forty class, and in 2015 was featured by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle as a Woman to Watch.

Tolefree holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and a Minor in Spanish from Spelman College.

The Board of Directors for ESL Federal Credit Union consists of a diverse group of influential and successful leaders from a broad spectrum of disciplines. This distinguished group of men and women oversees the various activities of ESL and helps ensure the organization’s long-term profitability and sustainability.

With Tolefree’s appointment, ESL’s board is composed of 11 directors, 10 of which are independent volunteers.
