ESL Names Scott Chapman and Daniel Goldstein to Board of Directors

Rochester, NY — ESL Federal Credit Union announces the recent appointments of Scott Chapman and Daniel J. Goldstein as the newest members of its Board of Directors.

Chapman is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Butler/Till, Inc. which includes Butler/Till Real Estate Holdings, Inc. Goldstein is Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Oak Realty Trust.

Chapman’s breadth of experience includes 15 years in marketing and advertising, most recently with Butler/Till since 2021. He has extensive experience in business strategy, operations, human resources, and business mergers and acquisitions. He serves on the Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, and is Chair of the Audit Committee for Nazareth University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Nazareth University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York.

Goldstein earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, before returning to Rochester, NY in 1993 to begin a career as a public accountant. He practiced public accounting in Rochester for 11 years, maintaining his CPA through 2021. He served as the CFO of Buckingham Properties LLC before co-founding Royal Oak Realty Trust in 2013, serving as President & CEO through 2020 and most recently as Chairman & CEO. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Monroe Community College Foundation, Syracuse University Hillel, and is a current board member, Executive Committee member and a past President of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester.

The Board of Directors for ESL Federal Credit Union consists of a diverse group of influential and successful leaders from a broad spectrum of disciplines. This distinguished group of men and women oversees the various activities of ESL and helps ensure the organization’s long-term profitability and sustainability.

With Chapman’s and Goldstein’s appointments, the ESL board is composed of 11 directors, 10 of which are independent volunteers.
