ESL Federal Credit Union Names Two New District Managers

Michael Prince and Jaime Schimmel join the company’s retail banking management team

Rochester, NY — ESL Federal Credit Union recently named Michael Prince and Jaime Schimmel as retail banking district managers. In their role as district manager, they will each be responsible for operational processes as well as the recruitment, management, and retention of the locally-owned credit union's branch staff.

Prince will oversee the company’s eastern district, including the offices at Brighton-Henrietta, Canandaigua, Cobblestone Court, Fairport, Newark, Penfield, Pittsford, and Webster. Schimmel will oversee the central district, including offices at Chestnut Street, Culver-Ridge, Irondequoit, Merchants Walk, State Street, and Twelve Corners.

Prince originally joined ESL in 2016 as retail banking sales coach and holds nearly 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industries. He earned his bachelor’s in mathematics and master’s of business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology. He also holds an Executive Banking School certificate from Consumer Bankers Association. Prince resides in Spencerport with his wife and two children.

Schimmel brings more than 15 years’ experience in banking and finance. She most recently worked at Citizens Bank and held the roles of branch manager, regional manager, premier regional manager, and senior strategy consultant, respectively. Schimmel holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The College at Brockport. She currently resides in Hilton with her husband and three children.
