ESL Federal Credit Union Welcomes Two New Employees to its Commercial Banking Team

Rochester, NY — ESL Federal Credit Union recently added two new members to its commercial banking team. ESL named Jon Fogle as commercial banking manager, and Michael Sternick as commercial real estate relationship manager.

“We are pleased to welcome Jon and Michael to the ESL team and appreciate the extensive experience they bring to their respective roles,” said senior vice president/director, business banking, Keith Cleary. “ESL Business Banking has seen tremendous growth in terms of volume and in our capabilities for customers in recent years. The addition of Jon and Michael will allow us to continue to offer superior solutions and support for our commercial business clientele.”

Fogle will oversee a team of ESL relationship managers for its commercial banking team. Fogle will be responsible for leading the effort of developing new commercial loan relationships, including depository, wealth management, and retail banking products.

Fogle holds more than 30 years’ experience in the business banking industry. He most recently served as Rochester regional president, business banking manager at Five Star Bank. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Fogle volunteers his time with the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester, and is past chair of the Rochester Business Classic.

Sternick will be responsible for the development and servicing of commercial real estate relationships for the credit union. Sternick holds more than seven years’ of experience in commercial real estate. He most recently served as acquisitions manager at Broadstone Real Estate. Sternick holds a BA in Economics and MBA with a with dual concentrations in Finance and Competitive & Organizational Strategy from the University of Rochester.
