Limited to attorneys and law firms, an IOLA Checking Account pools escrow funds from multiple clients into one dividend bearing account. Dividends earned on the account are forwarded (by ESL) directly to the New York State IOLA Fund, where they support grants to civil legal service providers which help low income New Yorkers.
