For Carmen, a diversity and outreach coordinator, community building is what makes her life meaningful and complete. She believes belonging to something bigger is synonymous with community and is about “doing your utmost to contribute in order to achieve the greatest good.”

Carmen appreciates how ESL continues to open new locations that are accessible to underserved neighborhoods, “making it clear they have their sights on helping the most people grow with better financial opportunities.” She feels empowered because of the financial tools and education ESL provides to help her set goals and attain them.
