Account Balance Details

Your available balance might be different from your current balance as a result of several factors. Some examples are:
  • If you make a check deposit at an ATM in excess of $225, only the FIRST $225 is immediately available in your account.
  • If you purchase an item using your ESL Visa Debit Card, the purchase amount may be on "hold" in your available balance because it has not yet been debited from your account.
  • Some merchants, such as gas stations, only authorize your account for $1.00; however, the transaction will post to your account for the total amount of your purchase.
  • When viewing your accounts in mobile or online banking, the available balance will reflect pending purchases.
