Anna McLaughlinByron-Bergen Jr/Sr High School
Anna is an impressive student and individual in her community, dedicating her time to volunteer work with Girl Scouts, Foodlink, Vacation Bible School, Students Against Destructive Decisions, and the Bergen Fire Department, among others. Despite her academic and volunteer achievements, she still finds time to work as a lifeguard, pet sitter, and respite provider for caregivers of those with developmental disabilities. Additionally, Anna is an accomplished athlete in track and field, Irish dance, and wrestling. She also was recognized with NYSSMA Solo Fest and All County meetings for her accomplishment in music.
Maintaining this number of extracurriculars while being an exemplary student is no easy feat, Anna. Congratulations on your scholarship!
