  • Complete form and submit.

CheckOK is available for ESL personal and business checking accounts.

CheckOK will cover ATM withdrawals, debit card purchases, ACH withdrawals, and checks.

If you have CheckOK set up as overdraft protection on your checking account, Courtesy Pay performs as a backup to that service when there are not enough funds in the CheckOK account to cover a transaction.

Yes, ESL Courtesy Pay acts as additional coverage once your Cash Reserve, Business Overdraft Line of Credit, or CheckOK have reached their limits.

This can occur if there are not enough funds available in the savings account.

You may have one form of overdraft protection on a checking account. To replace your Cash Reserve with CheckOK, after you pay the balance down to zero we will close the Cash Reserve and open the CheckOK service.

Please contact an ESL Representative, and we'll be happy to assist you.

To cancel CheckOK on a personal account:

  • Sign in to online banking.
  • Mouse over Manage Money.
  • Click Manage Overdraft Services.
  • Click Request or Remove CheckOK service.
  • Complete form and submit.

To cancel CheckOK on a business account, please contact an ESL Representative.

CheckOK automatically advances the exact amount needed to cover any shortfall in your checking account up to the available savings account balance.

ESL will overdraw your savings account for the fee.

If you do not have enough funds in your checking account and the savings account which is associated with your CheckOK to cover a check, the check will be returned for insufficient funds.

There is a daily fee to cover insufficient funds in your checking account when CheckOk is used. There are no monthly fees associated with this service.

The CheckOK service will be discontinued if the ownership changes on either the checking or savings account associated with the CheckOK service.
